The Saphir Polishing Brush is a versatile brush that can be used for both cleaning and polishing. It is made with stiffer boar bristles—a naturally firm fibre—and features a handle crafted from Sipo hardwood. The Polishing Brush is ideal for removing excess cream or wax in order to achieve a soft sheen on waxed finishes. It is also effective for removing dirt and dust, especially from textured leathers.

Care and maintenance instructions: 

1. The polishing brush can be used to remove dirt and excess wax from the shoe before applying creams and polishes.

2. If you are applying polish to the leather item, use an applicator brush or a chamois cloth, never the polishing brush.

3. Once the waxes are dry, use the Saphir Gold Medal polishing brush to remove excess wax and achieve a soft shine.

4. Finish polishing with a horsehair brush for a high gloss.

Advice:

Do not apply shoe cream or wax with the Polishing Brush. Use a dabbing brush or a cotton chamois instead.
All polishing brushes accumulate polish residue over time; therefore, it is recommended to use a brush with bristles matching the colour of the cream.
The Polishing Brush can also be used frequently to remove dirt and dust from leathers.
