Espadrilles are everyday footwear made of rope, mainly in terms of the sole. They can be flat or high heels. Usually canvas, cotton fabric or leather covers the upper part. Traditionally, spars, after processing and turning into rope, were the main material of the sole. Now common is the use of "jute" grass. The origin of the shoe is areas of today's Spain and southern France.
